Improve the school buildings The objective of this project is to improve the school environment through buildings or rehabilitation of classrooms, staff houses and supply desks in the village’s primary schools.

Because of lack of funds we are currently not operative with the “darasa bora” project. We are sad because, even if the government has set aside funds for the construction of schools, there are still no hostels, classrooms and houses for teachers. We have started this year to buy textbooks for the students, so that they can learn by themselves even without teachers.

Actually, besides building houses for teachers we should first find someone to live in!!!
Teachers and professors do often exist. The problem is that when they ask for permission to go to university or other courses for studying, they are always granted permission, without making sure there will remain a sufficient number of teachers at school.
For instance: Secondary school in the village of Nala – 3 professors for 300 students. Secondary school in Kigwe – 3 professors (director included) for almost 50 students, and so on.

This is the main reason why we suggest our students they study to become teachers and\or professors, as they will find a job for sure (even with all the other problems this will brings that I have listed above)
