Agriculture, breeding, environment
Agriculture and Breeding still play a very important role in Tanzania , giving employment to 85% of the active population; in spite of this, food autonomy has not been reached yet. This is the reason for which Kisedet has decided to support more and more the activities connected to agriculture, breeding and horticulture. In order to improve the creation of groups, Kisedet assists small economic group formation (mainly women and youngster groups) in agriculture, horticulture, livestock and environmental issues by: – training – counselling – small grant – purchasing seeds and tools – assistance and technical services.
