KISEDET has developed an initiative of sustainable tourism “Tukutane Mbuyuni” (Let’s meet under the baobab) to support its projects.

Here you can find three examples of itineraries that we suggest. These recommendations can guide you when it comes to plan a trip to this beautiful country. Depending on the budget and the number of days we can organise for you an unforgettable experience.

Now let’s grab a map of Tanzania and start wondering of flying over lakes, mountains, white beaches,  huge cities, national parks, roads and streams.

The main International Tanzanian airport is in Dar Es Salaam and it will probably be your entrance gate to the country, the other one is KIA (Kilimanjaro International Airport). KISEDET can provide transportation on your arrival with a private car (Toyota Land Cruiser) or a mini van, according to the number of travelers. The cost for this service includes rent, allowances for the driver and the cultural mediator but not fuel which has to be paid on the spot.

If you will land in Dar, you can head to Dodoma by airplane or by train and you will have a little landscape tasting of what this little-big land offers.

Many people don’t know that but Dodoma is the official capital city of Tanzania and it is spreading like wildfire.

In addition to the Train, that is revolutioned the transport to Dodoma, it’s going full the building of the International Airport of Msalato.

KISEDET operates mainly in Dodoma district. Here you can visit the city, our headquarter, the drop-in center, and Shukurani short-term shelter. Later you will be hosted at our new Guest House “Elena Fontana” in the village of Chigongwe, located in the area of Chigongwe Family long-term shelter, 27 km west of Dodoma.

Those are the days in which you can visit the nearby villages supported by the organization, meet the local community,  and get to know our projects.

Later on,  a more touristic route will take you to your travel!
